President Credai-NCR and Gaurs Group’s CMD Manoj Gaur has been appointed chairman of Credai (Confederation of Real Estate Developers’ Associations of India) National.

Boman Irani, CMD of Mumbai-based Rustomjee Builders, takes over as the new president; Shekhar Patel has been appointed president-elect; and Rama Reddy has been elected secretary. Gaurav Gupta, director of SG Estates, is joint secretary of Credai National. The ceremony was held in Mumbai.

“The National Capital Region (NCR) is among the country’s most valuable property markets. Credai National will continue to work towards good governance, rejuvenating housing policies, and optimizing zero-carbon practices in these regions. We will also promote sustainability in the region’s real estate apart from focusing on addressing the concerns of NCR real estate,” said Gaur.

Credai National is a distinguished industry body that takes up developers’ concerns with the authorities and lobbies for favorable policies to boost real estate development in the region. This will provide buyers with value-for-money propositions and drive the region’s growth.
