CREDAI-MCHI Dronagiri unit spotlights growth prospects for Uran and Dronagiri at leadership transition event

The CREDAI-MCHI Dronagiri Unit successfully held its first Change of Guard event, where Deep Rajpal handed over the presidency to Rakesh Prajapati, the new President of the Unit.

Dronagiri and Uran are crucial for the development of Navi Mumbai and Mumbai due to their strategic location and growth potential. Located in the Raigad district and near the Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust (JNPT), Dronagiri is becoming a prime area for real estate investment, benefiting from its proximity to one of India’s largest ports. Both areas are set for major transformation with infrastructure projects like the Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMIA) and the Mumbai-Trans Harbour Link (MTHL) in progress. These developments are expected to improve connectivity, boost economic growth, and attract more investment.

CREDAI-MCHI developers are actively involved in the organized development of Dronagiri and Uran, ensuring that the real estate market in these areas is well-structured and sustainable. The next two years will be crucial for the development of Dronagiri and Uran, marking a period of significant growth. With the completion of key infrastructure projects such as the Mumbai-Trans Harbour Link (MTHL) and the ongoing work on the Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMIA), these areas are poised for tremendous potential. The airport, which recently saw the calibration of its navigation system, is progressing well, with one runway already completed. Efforts to enhance connectivity, including new metro lines and road networks, are actively underway and will be completed as planned. The development of Dronagiri and Uran, supported by these transportation facilities, will attract substantial investment and open up numerous growth opportunities.”

Rakesh Prajapati, president of CREDAI-MCHI Dronagiri Unit, said, “It gives me immense honor to take over as President from Deep Rajpal, who has done wonderful work as the Founder President. During my tenure, I plan to focus on the development of Dronagiri and Uran. We will hold regular monthly meetings to discuss all major issues and organize educative seminars at least once a quarter to benefit all members on various important topics. We will visit prominent builder sites and offices to learn about the new technologies being used in the industry. Additionally, we will organize festival events, participate in sports events with CREDAI-MCHI main, and actively promote Dronagiri and Uran to increase the exposure of these micro markets. Our unit will also participate in events organized by other associations in Navi Mumbai and engage in all activities of CREDAI-MCHI main. We will continue to represent our issues with CIDCO, the Government of Maharashtra, the airport authority, and all related authorities to resolve our issues.”
