Vivacity, one of the largest malls in India by Sheth developers, is being developed in collaboration with the retailers to ensure an enriching shopping experience for the consumers. Vivacity’s pioneering efforts in developer-retailer relationship management will set industry benchmarks for creating next generation shopping destinations. Highlights of Vivacity’s retailer relationship management initiatives spanning across design, architecture and operations includes the following:
Energy/ Power saving initiatives: Effective and high quality roof/wall insulation has been planned for the mall which will help in reducing the heat load within the unit & maintaining comfort levels for customers even during peak hours.
Zoning: We have ensured the right tenant mix and its placement in the mall for retailers to generate optimum sales.
Inventory movement convenience: Dedicated four service docks and eight service elevators have been strategically located to ensure better connectivity to the retailers for different vertical sections of stock for retailers convenience
Unique Food-court design and operations:
Food units have well-planned service corridors at the rear allowing convenient access from/to service/garbage elevators and tray processing unit.
Separate Air Handling Unit (AHU) has been planned to keep the food court odour confined to the area. Further, the indoor plants in the food court area will reduce contents of Volatile organic compounds (VOC) in the air and thereby restrict the food smell carryover to the other areas of the mall.
The mall management has taken special efforts in planning additional grease traps in the common service corridors facilitating unobstructed working of food units by immediate identification of problem w.r.t specific unit & instant attention to choking of drain pipes if any.
A 35feet high volume, ample natural light through clear-storey windows, elliptical court profile makes this space extremely well-knit yet spacious, inviting & encouraging towards maximum dwell time.
Workshops organized by leading designers to educate the retailers and encourage them to design the store layout in a unique manner emphasizing on latest trends in fit–outs and visual merchandising, thereby maximizing the visual appeal to the shoppers
Training for staff members of retailers: We have a dedicated operations and Retailer Relations team to ensure there are quarterly trainings for staff members of brands. Topics like workplace safety, customer service, health & safety, handling of hazardous materials and general loss & prevention will be covered in these workshops and drills.
Keeping in mind the different cultural ethnicities in India, Vivacity has set aside a separate prayer area, cafeteria, tailor room, change rooms/wash rooms each for mall facility staff & retailers’ staff respectively to ease daily mall operations
Excellently planned customer circulation from mall entries off the adjoining road to connectivity from basement, enhance conversion of mall footfalls to store footfalls , a batch of 24 escalators across all levels of parking and shop floors ensure smooth vertical movement in each section of the mall.

Vivacity project was judged as the ‘Best Retail Development (India)’.
