Usha Breco to focus on budget homes

Mumbai-based developer, Usha Breco Realty Limited, part of the Kolkata based business conglomerate Usha Martin Limited, has announced that it will focus on affordable housing to drive the company’s growth plan. The firm stated that with a demand that exist across the country, the affordable housing segment offers several lucrative opportunities.
Elaborating on the company’s growth plans, the company’s CEO Uday Dharmadhikari said, “We have planned to focus on the affordable housing segment as these projects offer strategic and lucrative opportunities in such market conditions. Our intention is to be recognized as a leading corporate real estate developer operating in the Indian real estate space. We will partner with the best to bring in the highest level of professional practices from across the world”
Sharing his perspective Andrew Seys Llewellyn, advisor, Usha Breco Realty Limited said, “With the strength of domestic markets and demand for new types of residential properties, the focus is to now concentrate on affordable value housing so as to keep pace with the current and future market conditions. Usha Breco Realty plans to expand its presence to other cities such as Pune, Chandigarh, Bangalore, Delhi – NCR and areas in the outskirts of Mumbai.”
The company is currently actively engaged in group developmental projects that were announced early last year. The projects include a multi-tenanted IT building in Kolkata with an estimated budget of Rs75 crore.
In addition, it is also working on an Rs175 crore integrated residential-cum-commercial project at Ranchi in Jharkhand. The company is focusing on currently implementing projects with budget of over Rs250 crore.
