UPSRTC to develop bus complexes on PPP


Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC) is envisaging development of bus station cum comemrcial complexes infrastructure at their existing bus terminal poperties in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India on PPP model at 243 locations spread out across the state. All the stations have been divided in to viable bid parcels with each parcel containing aprroximately 15-20 terminals each having a unique advantage of being a key tourist, industrial, social, administrative and cultural place. Estimated project cost is INR 2200 Cr.
The properties would be leased out to the prospective bidder for a lease period of 36 years wherein the private developer will design, build, finance, operate the bus station and commercial activities at the premises.
The project is currenly in the stage of RFQ to be invited from the prospective bidders, a NIT for which shall be published in the coming few weeks.
