Unity Infraprojects Q2 Total Income up 32.7%
Unity Infraprojects Ltd has announced its financial results for the Second quarter of FY 2010. Announcing the results, Kishore K Avarsekar, chairman & MD, Unity Infraprojects Ltd said: “We are extremely pleased with the result and looking to step up the pace of our order execution and ramp up our operations.”
The company’s orderbook, as on 30th September 2009, stood at Rs. 31900 mn, an increase of 18% over March 2009. During the Quarter under consideration, the company has announced 45% dividend for the financial year 2008-09. The Members of the company at 12th Annual General Meeting authorized Board of Directors to raise funds upto Rs. 250 crores through Qualified Institutional Placement (QIP).

The Company bagged an order to construct six towers for Amanora Park Town, Pune, amounting to Rs. 54.56 crore.
Unity JV received a LOI for two contracts aggregating to Rs 620.76 crores from MCGM for supply installation and maintenance of AMR water metres for the eastern and western suburbs of Mumbai.
In addition the Company secured another contract from MCGM of Rs. 325.23 crore for replacement of two Pipelines of 1800 mm dia, from Tansa to Tarali.
The Company has received a (LOA) from, CPWD, New Delhi for redevelopment scheme of Dev Nagar, New Delhi, amounting to Rs 72 crore.
