Uniply Elementz

The Chennai-based Uniply Industries Limited has launched its decorative range of wood veneers, the Elementz. The range is targeted at architects and interior designers and comes in silk, smooth, textured feel, many tones and hues.

The Elementz range includes 100 varieties of decorative wood veneers, overlaid on marine plywood. The veneers are coated with a specially formulated transparent gel that enhances durability, making them termite and borer resistant. The wood products used are obtained through sustainable forest management practices and environmentally safe processes.

The product is manufactured in heavy-duty guillotine jointer with double cut technology that eliminates gaps and scars between the veneer strips during splicing. A unique butt jointing technology ensures defect free finish after polishing.Uniply is the first Indian Company to get FSC certification for decorative plywood and sawn wood for interior and wood joinery applications in India.

Uniply range of products include all kinds of plywood such as termite proof Uniply ATS marine plywood, BWR plywood, block board, flush door, flexible plywood, fire retardant plywood, chemically treated wood and LVL, etc.
