Gayatri Projects has been on a projects bagging spree. The pure play EPC company has received three orders amounting to Rs 404 crore from the Bihar State Road Development Corporation. These projects will be executed on an EPC basis in-line with the management’s decision to follow an asset-light model.
Last month, it bagged a Rs 1,312 crore road project in Maharashtra. The order is for construction of access controlled Nagpur-Mumbai super communication expressway (Maharashtra Samruddhi Maha Marg) on EPC mode for package-11, from 503km to 533km in Ahmednagar.
The company was also awarded with the add-on works to its existing works of Chintalapudi Lift Irrigation Scheme. Irrigation contracts have been a strong suit of Gayatri Projects since inception.
GPL is the flagship company of the Gayatri Group that has interests in infrastructure, power, hospitality and real estate. Roads formed 63%, irrigation 25% and others 12% of the company’s order inflow.
