Supreme Infrastructure Q4 PAT up by 89.91%
Supreme Infrastructure Limited (BSE code: 532904) has reported a robust growth in revenues and profit after tax for the quarter ended, March 31, 2010. The company saw an increase in revenue by a whopping 19.51% from Rs145.77 Cr to Rs174.28 Cr during the same period for the last fiscal.
The profit after tax for the quarter ended March 31, 2010 stood at Rs11.02 Cr, resulting into an increase of 89.91%, as against Rs5.80 Cr in the corresponding period of the last fiscal. Earnings per share went up to Rs31.76 as against Rs16.72 in the previous quarter recording an increase of about 89.99%.
Commenting on the results, Vikram B Sharma – MD, Supreme Infrastructure Ltd said, “We have yet again posted good results and are pleased by the performance. Also we have bagged a few new orders during this quarter which help us expand our presence in new geographies and new business segments in the coming year.”
Developments in the quarter
Supreme Infrastructure India Ltd has bagged the order to construct the Kapurthala Judicial Court Complex. The entire valuation of the Project is Rs. 44 crore. This order is awarded by PWD B & R Br. Of Kapurthala. This marks their 2nd big order in Punjab.
The company has also bagged worth Rs. 328.16 crores from Punjab Infrastructure Development Board for the four laning of the road along Sidhwan canal Contract from Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Co. Ltd. for Rs 77.28 crores along with Ms Patwari Electricals of Osmananbad Company expanded its presence to six states in the country during this quarter.
Current order book position stands at approximately Rs. 1,657 crore.
