‘Convert’: Modular carpet manufactured with recycled yarn
InterfaceFlor India Pvt Ltd has recently launched its Convert collection. Convert is a new category of modular carpet – the first one that is manufactured with a full colour spectrum of post consumer (recycled) yarn, harvested through InterfaceFlor’s ReEntry 2.0 recycling program.

At the heart of Convert is InterfaceFlor’s ability to recycle – or ‘reinyarnate’ – all nylon face fibre into a clean stream of recycled nylon. With this technology, InterfaceFlor is aggressively recycling both its own as well as its competitors’ old carpets.

Designed by David Oakey, the Convert collection shows how beautiful recycled content can be – old dirty carpets transformed into sophisticated and appealing designs. Speaking on the occasion, Neel Bradham, Sr VP of sales & marketing for Europe, Middle East, Africa & India (EMEAI) of InterfaceFlor said: “Just as modular tile signalled a new day in the flooring industry, and i2 taught the world about biomimicry, Convert is our third major step in redesigning design.”

The Convert range has 13 patterns in four to 24 colourways and will now be available to customers in India. InterfaceFlor India offices located at Bangalore, Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai and Hyderabad will provide support to customers.

Styles for your space
Finfloor, the latest entrant in the laminated flooring segment, has added a new range of designs in 8mm AC4, the Style & Style WI (Wood Impression) series.

Apart from the basic properties of the laminated flooring range, the Style series comes with the Wood Touch i.e. it has a natural finish and a rustic feel. The Style WI series comes with a synchronized touch and appearance, which gives a look of natural wooden flooring from any angle.

A perfect balance has been achieved using the latest techniques with a careful selection of designs. The ‘X’ Factor of this range is that Finsa ensures that every plank in a box varies naturally in its design, which is only found in wood thus giving the flooring a real wood feel.

This is popularly known as ROTO design. Another attractive feature of these series is that they are longer and narrower. A longer overall length means fewer seams and a better looking floor. Its hassle free locking system, which does not need any nailing or gluing to the floor, ensures that it makes installation faster.
