Saint-Gobain Gyproc unveils Ecophon

Saint-Gobain Gyproc India Ltd has announced the launch of Ecophon, a new range of acoustic solutions for ceilings and wall panels. The product provides high levels of acoustical performance with Noise Reduction Coefficient (NRC) rating ranging from 0.80 to 1.00 (i.e. 80% to 100% sound absorption) thereby creating the right environment for sound comfort.

“Through our global network, we are better equipped to bring the international products to the Indian market,” he added. “Ecophon is one of the most widely accepted solutions for acoustics internationally and we are confident that it will take construction to the next level in India.”
The Ecophon range of soft felt (glass wool) based tiles are preferred worldwide for grid ceilings and wall panels because they give very high acoustic performance. Additionally, they are lighter and have better aesthetic appeal than mineral fibre tiles.
