RPP Infra ventures into Indonesian power project

RPP Infra Projects Ltd has passed the pre-qualification norms for the ‘Mamuju IPP Power Project’ in Indonesia through its consortium with Truba Manunggal Power & M/s Energy Ventures Ltd. RPP Infra Projects Ltd is one of India’s fast growing Non Metro/Rural based company engaged in the business of infrastructure development such as highways, roadways, bridges, civil construction works, irrigation, water supply projects and power plants.
The consortium is expected to develop 2 projects of net capacity 2×25 MW each. These projects namely Mamuju Coal Fired Steam Power Plant IPP & Kendari Fired Steam Powered Plant IPP are connected to 150 KV Sub Station.
The scope of Work includes Finance, Designing, Procurement, Construction, Commission, Operation & Maintainence of a Coal Fired Steam Power Plant using BOOT scheme which shall then be transferred to PLN.
Commenting on the occasion P Arulsundaram – CMD, RPP Infra Projects Ltd. said, “We have passed through tough competition to win this project. We are also hopeful that this is the beginning of many more such projects.”

About Truba Manunggal: Truba Manunggal Tbl (TM) was incorporated on 21st January 2001 and become publically listed on 16th October 2006. The company’s shares are currently traded on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Truba Manunggal has primarily focused on acting as an EPC contractor for Mechanical & Electrical component for the intensive construction of power plants. TM has been involved in the construction of over 90% of the state owned power utility Perusahan Listik Negara (PLN’s) coal-fired and gas-fired power plants.
