RPP Infra bags Rs300 million-order in TN
RPP Infra Projects has bagged new orders worth Rs300 million in the irrigation and building sector in Tamil Nadu. The work order includes construction of a library building for Central Library Buildings at Thiruvarur, Tamil Nadu under the Central Public Works Department and rehabilitation and modernization of Supply Channels in Vellore and Villupuram Districts under Water Resources Department, Public Works Department Tamil Nadu. The projects are expected to be completed in the period of 12 months.
P Arulsundaram, CMD, RPP Infra Projects said, “These new orders in the irrigation and building sectors have added our repertoire of projects that we are executing in Tamil Nadu. As always we are proud be associated with infrastructure orders in our home state.”
Sri Lankan Railway Project
The company has successfully completed its first overseas project in Sri Lanka. Indian External Affairs Minister SM Krishna, during his visit to the Island Nation dedicated the Colombo Matara coastal railway line, construction of maintenance shed, maintenance building and washing apron of Sri Lankan Railway in Dematagoda, Aluthgama and Gale. Rites, India were the consultants for this project. The project was completed well in time. The cost of the project was SLR 235 million.
