World One

Located at Upper Worli, spread across a 17.5 acres, at over 1,450 feet, this tower will be the tallest residential development in the world once completed.

It is part of the Lodha Place project by Lodha Developers, a mixed-use development that will include three residential towers, a high-end shopping avenue and an office building.

World One will include about 300 exclusive homes, including three and four bedroom world residence, world villas and a limited number of luxurious duplex world mansions. The luxury apartments have been designed by ace designer Giorgio Armani.

Oberoi Oasis Tower B

Oasis Tower B is a supertall skyscraper under construction at Annie Besant Road, Mumbai. The project is being developed under the banner of Oasis Realty, a joint venture between Sahana and Oberoi Realty. M/s Skylark Build and M/s Shree Vrunda Enterprises, promoted by Sudhakar Shetty, are collectively referred to as Sahana. The project is mixed-use development with a saleable area of about 2.1 million sq-ft. It has three phases comprising a residential tower, commercial office space and a luxury hotel. This is a slum rehabilitation project under which Oberoi will be responsible for free-sale portion, while the rehab work will be taken care of by the JV partners.

Once complete, at 372 metres (1,220 feet) the Tower B will be the second tallest building in the country. Oberoi has brought in Samsung C&T Corporation as the contractors, a company that has constructed many of the world’s tallest landmark building projects like the Burj Khalifa in UAE and the Petronas Tower in Malaysia.

Orchid Crown Towers

Orchid Crown offers 3, 4 and 5 bedroom apartments. Comprising three high-rise towers, two towers of 70 floors each and one of 60 floors. The project is being executed under Real Gem Buildtech, a subsidiary of DB Realty. Initially, planned as 75 storeyed skyscrapers, the tower height had to be scaled down to 70 as per regulations. Now, the towers have three levels of basement, eight levels podium, two levels of amenities like gardens and two levels of lobby. The 13th floor is the service floor and residences start from the 14th floor and have a ceiling height of 14 feet each.

Palais Royale

Palais Royale is Shree Ram Urban Infrastructure’s first project being built at the site of Shree Ram Mills at Lower Parel in Mumbai. The skyscraper is a LEED platinum pre-certified building and has also recently received a 5 Palm rating from CETEC in Australia, making it the tallest green building in the country. This is a first residential building in the country to have undergone site-specific seismic studies with the help of IIT Roorkee.

The building has 100 luxury apartments with areas of 8,000 sq-ft and 14,000 sq-ft and a floor plate of 50,000 sq-ft. The construction area of the building is over three million sq-ft with 88 slabs. Foreign consultants such as Lehr Associates of New York and RWDI, Canada have consulted on the project.

The traffic and parking study is being done by GMD Consultants. The kitchen design and consultancy is being done by HCTS, Dubai and the major part of the foundation is done by Pandey Earthworks Pvt Ltd, an upcoming company in Mumbai.

Lokhandwala Minerva

Coming up at Mahalaxmi in Mumbai, Lokhandwala Minerva will have two towers of 82 floors each that encompass parking floors from 2nd to 16th, podium garden on 17th floor, residential floors on 26th to 79th, service floor on 80th and penthouse on 81, 82 and terrace. Built on slum land, this luxury residential project boasts of some of the best in the industry working on it. The landscape has been designed by Site Concepts International, wind engineering is by RWDI Anemos, Canada; traffic design is by Systra MVA Consulting, Hong Kong; vertical transportation is by Lerch Bates Inc, USA and facade engineering is by BES Consultants, Singapore. The developers claim that the building has been tested to withstand the next 500 years of foreseeable wind and climate based on the IMD date for the last 70 years.

Supernova Spira
Touted as North India’s tallest building, Spira is part of the township, Supertech SuperNova, which is spread across five million sq-ft. It is slated to be a mixed-use project comprising residential and commercial developments. Supernova claims that the building is pre-certified as a green building (LEED platinum rating). The RCC structure has been designed for zone V seismic considerations. Supertech has roped in Benoy for master planning. Knight Frank, London are the project advisors, while RWDI, Canada have consulted on wind engineering. Golder Associates, Australia are the geotechnical engineers and Cracknell from Dubai, the landscape consultants.

Namaste Tower

Coming up at Mahalaxmi in Mumbai, Namaste Tower is a 62-story, 300m high, newest addition to W Hotel franchise, currently under construction. This tower will include a hotel, office and retail space. The building has two wings that join together like the palm of two hands to form the gesture of the Indian greeting of ‘Namaste’—making it an iconic structure in the city, a landmark that might define the metro. The tower has a gross construction area of 120,000 sq-mt, A grade office space of 9,000 sq-mt, and retail space of 6,000 sq-mt. The space between the wings forms the corridor spaces. The tower will be clad in fritted glazing, creating a sense of transparency and depth to the building, while maintaining required thermal qualities. The podium at the base of the building will feature a large canopy, which will include an array of solar thermal collectors that will have the potential to provide 12% of the energy needed to heat the hot water for the hotel. WS Atkins has taken the project on a turn-key basis and is also responsible for all the engineering of the skyscraper.

Brys Buzz

Brys Buzz is being built at Sector 150, near the Expressway in Noida. The 291 luxury residences have been designed by the renowned Tonino Lamborghini CASA of Italy. Some of the structural features include: external permanent finish with permanently installed external facade cleaning mechanism; fully international fire safety norms compliant building with fire resistant main door, dedicated fire lift and a helipad provisioned for air ambulance; deck style balcony with railing in stainless steel with toughened glass; and high-speed elevators and state-of-the-art vertical transportation system.

One Avighna Park

One Avighna Park is a project with twin towers of the same height under construction in Lower Parel. The towers that will house 3, 4 and 5-bed sky villas and mansions has already bagged 19 awards including The World’s Best Residential High-Rise Development at the International Property Awards in London. The project is almost near completion with 51 floors of both towers being completed. The towers are pre-certified Platinum by the Indian Green Building Council. The developers claim that 300 workers were employed from various GCC countries, to give dynamic, diverse know-how to the nuances of construction.

Trump Tower

Designed by WOHA, Singapore, an architecture firm, The Trump Tower is part of The Park, the luxury project by the Lodha Group coming up at Worli and is spread across seven acres. The project will create a mixed-use development,much like the development at Central Park in New York. WOHA are well-recognised architects for Green high-rises while ‘P-Landscape’, Thailand is a firm known for its landscapes, primarily in hospitality projects across Asia. Barker Mohandas, USA, has been roped in for elevation engineering while facade engineering is by Arup, Singapore. A gleaming golden edifice with a magnificent curtain, the tower will have uber-luxe 3, 4 and 5 bedroom residences. Trump Tower Mumbai is not owned, developed or sold by Donald J Trump, The Trump Organization or any of their principals or affiliates. Jawala Real Estate Pvt Ltd, a Lodha Group entity, is the owner and developer, and promoter, and uses the “Trump” name under a sub-license from DT Marks Worli LLC, where sub–license is subject to terms between the parties.
