Hyderabad-based Megha Engineering and Infrastructures (MEIL) has secured four key contracts from the Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC). The MSRDC had opened tenders for several projects, including the Virar-Alibaug multipurpose road and the Pune ring road.
The company will now be responsible for three stages of the Pune road and one stage of the multipurpose road. Megha Engineering received a contract for stages one, five, and seven of the Pune road project. It also secured a contract for stage nine of the Virar-Alibaug multipurpose road. The company had originally applied for five tenders for five stages of the Pune ring road and three tenders for three stages of the Virar-Alibaug multipurpose road.
The company earlier received a contract worth Rs 14,400 crore of MMRDA’s Thane-Borivali twin tunnel project, for Mumbai to Nagpur Samruddhi Highway’s Nagpur to Vardha (31 km) and Bedewadi to Fatiabad (54.5) stages.
