HMRTC advances Gurugram Metro with massive Rs 6,800-cr tender float

The detailed project report was approved by the state cabinet in October 2022

The long-awaited Gurugram Metro project is finally progressing as the Haryana Mass Rapid Transport Corporation has initiated the tender for the geo-technical survey of a 12.76km portion of the upcoming 28.60km line.

This new extension will connect the existing Metro rail line from Huda City Centre to Old Gurugram and further to CyberHub in a loop, providing comprehensive connectivity across the city.

Additionally, a spur from Palam Vihar to Dwarka’s Sector 21 will be constructed to establish a connection with Delhi Metro’s Blue Line. The survey will provide a detailed analysis of the soil and rock conditions along the stretch, assisting in determining the suitable foundations and design calculations for the elevated corridor.

The detailed project report was approved by the state cabinet in October 2022, and the civil work is expected to commence soon, as stated by the state CM.
