MMRCL issues tenders for two contracts worth Rs 700-cr

The contracts are for Nagpur Metro Rail

The Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation (MMRCL) has floated tenders for Nagpur Metro Rail Project (NMRP).

The scope of work envisages design and construction of elevated Metro viaduct of length 9.550 km between ch 19,970 to 20,700 mtr and 21,296.917 mtr to ch 30,117 mtr in Reach-1A, construction of embankment for at-grade section of length 1.017 km (ch 19,550 mtr to ch 19,970 mtr and ch 20,700 mtr to 21,296.917 mtr), fabrication and launching of superstructure of railway span of length 70 mtr and construction of five Metro stations (four elevated and one at grade) in Reach-1A of NMRP Phase-2 of Maharashtra. The work will entail an Rs 470.3 crore.

The scope of work also envisages design and construction of elevated Metro viaduct of length 4.856 km between ch (-)580 mtr to ch (-)5,436.085 mtr reach 4A and construction of three elevated Metro stations in Reach-4A of NMRP Phase-2 of Maharashtra entailing an investment of Rs 246.17 crore.

The works will be completed in 30 months.
