MoRTH invites bids for upgradation of Akhnoor-Poonch Road

The government of India, Ministry of Road Transport & Highways (MoRTH), has invited bids for upgradation of Akhnoor-Poonch Road in the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir.

The scope of work involves rehabilitation and upgradation to two-lane with paved shoulder from the existing ch 30.000 km to 49.150 km (design chainage 30.000 km to 46.450 km) including design and construction of Kandi Tunnel (total length of tunnel 260 mtr) including approaches (Package-I) under-13 TF on Akhnoor-Poonch Road (NH -144A) under Project Sampark, the Border Roads Organisation (BRO) on EPC mode.

The estimated value of the project is Rs 239.29 crore to be completed in 24 months.
