Tender floated for upgradation of Alappuzha-Changanassery road

The project will be undertaken on EPC mode

The Public Works Department, Kerala, has invited bids for upgradation of Alappuzha-Changanassery Road into semi-elevated highway in Kerala.

The project will be undertaken on engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) mode. It is to be completed in 30 months period.

The state government through the government of India has received financing from the World Bank towards the cost of the First Resilient Kerala Program, and it intends to utilise part of the proceeds towards payments for the upgradation of Alappuzha-Changanassery Road under Rebuild Kerala Initiative (RKI).
