The government of India, Ministry of Road Transport & Highways (MoRTH), has invited bids for construction of four-lane bridge across Kosi river.

The scope of work includes construction of a new four-lane bridge across river Kosi at Phulaut, including rehabilitation and upgradation of the existing Birpur-Bihpur section of NH-106 from 106.000 km to 136.000 km to twolane with paved shoulder in Bihar on engineering, procurement, construction (EPC) mode.

The estimated value of the project is Rs 1,169.28 crore with completion period of 36 months.
