Numaligarh Refinery resumes work on projects worth Rs 2,043 cr

Numaligarh Refinery has resumed works on projects in Assam worth over Rs 2,043 crore observing all health protocols.

These projects include biorefinery project, Indo-Bangladesh pipeline project and work of an office in Guwahati.

Numaligarh Refinery is coming up with a biorefinery and the key raw material is bamboo. Fortum 3 BV, a 100 percent subsidiary of Fortum Oyj, Finland with Numaligarh Refinery, Indian state-owned oil Refinery Company and Chempolis, a Finnish technology company had entered a joint venture for building and operating a biorefinery in Assam.
