Uttar Pradesh government inaugurates 10 infra projects worth Rs 1,452 cr

Foundation stones were also laid for 10 projects

Government of Uttar Pradesh, Noida, Multi-level car parking, Government hospital, Underground parking, Power sub stations, Habitat and Convention Center, Intelligent traffic management system, Noida-Greater Noida Expressway, Greater Noida Authority

The government of Uttar Pradesh has inaugurated 10 projects worth Rs 1,452 crore on 2 March 2020 in Noida. Apart from this, foundation stones were laid for the remaining 10 projects worth Rs 1,369 crore.

The projects that were inaugurated include a multi-level car parking with space for 7,000 vehicles at Sector-38A worth Rs 500 crore, a government hospital worth Rs 344 crore in Sector-39, underground parking for 276 cars and 42 two-wheelers at Sector-5 worth Rs 32.25 crore.

Three power sub stations at Sector-148 entailing an investment of Rs 366 crore, and two at Sector-38A worth Rs 98.45 crore and Rs 10 crore were also inaugurated.

Apart from this, a foot over bridge at Sector-145 metro station worth Rs 10.81 crore, another in Sector-62 worth Rs five crore, one between Sector-71 and 72 worth Rs five crore and four pink toilets in sectors 16, 15, 28 and 74 (aggregate cost Rs 0.76 crore) were also inaugurated. While pink toilets are already operational in the city, the remaining are in the final stages of completion.

Foundation stones were also laid for 10 projects. This includes a Habitat and Convention Center in Sector-94 entailing an investment of Rs 685 crore. The centre will spread over 97,000 sq mtr.

Moreover, the foundation stones were also laid for sewage treatment plants at Sector-168 worth Rs 175 crore, Sector 123 (142 crore), which will treat 180 million ltr of waste water daily.

Besides, foundation stone were laid for flyover on MP-3 road near Parthala Chowk worth Rs 90 crore, intelligent traffic management system costing Rs 88.45 crore, a golf course in Sector-151 worth Rs 90 crore. Two underpasses on the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway and for installation of 21,946 LED lights (Rs 8.32 crore).

Meanwhile, the Greater Noida Authority will spend Rs 93 crore on the upkeep of roads across multiple places in the city. The stretches that will be upgraded include roads in Ecotech 12, the road between Ek Murti roundabout and Railway Crossing, the road between Gaur City roundabout and Tigri village, the road in Sector-16 C, the road in Sector-16 and cycle track in Sector-16.
