Amaravati Metro Rail Corpn gets nod to call for quotations for Modern Tram Corridors
The modern tram corridors will be developed in Phase-II of Visakhapatnam Light Metro Rail project
The Andhra Pradesh government has issued an order authorising the Amaravati Metro Rail Corporation (AMRC) to call for quotations for detailed project report (DPR) for Modern Tram Corridors for a length of 60.2 km.
The modern tram corridors will be developed in Phase-II of Visakhapatnam Light Metro Rail project of 140 km.
AMRC has also been authorised to avail transaction advisory from the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation, RITES and Urban Mass Transit Company.
The state government has already given nod to AMRC to invite bids for preparation of the DPR of Phase-I 80 km project 15 days ago.
The four tram corridors of Phase-II of the project include NAD Junction-Pendurthi (10.2 km), Steel Plant-Anakapalli (18.2 km), Old Post Office-Rushikonda beach (15.4 km) and Rushikonda beach-Bheemili beach (16.4 km).
