MHADA to build affordable Nano Homes

The Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA) is planning to construct affordable Nano Homes in suburban areas along with rural areas in the state.

The houses will be made available for people at a cost of Rs three-four lakh. The homes are expected to benefit the middle-class and lower-middle-class families in Mumbai. Meanwhile, the dates for issue of the lottery for Nano Homes are yet to be declared.

MHADA has decided that it will build Nano Homes on lands that are bought from private owners along with projects undertaken at No Development Zones.
