About 112 RCC bridges to be constructed

The Irrigation & Waterways Department, West Bengal, has floated tender for construction of RCC bridges in West Bengal.

The scope of work involves construction of 112 RCC bridges over drainage channels and irrigation canals as part of Infrastructure Gap Project in Purba Bardhaman and Birbhum districts of West Bengal.

The work will be completed in 30 months at a cost of Rs 235.84 crore.
