Sadbhav primarily deals with engineering and construction projects in roads, mining and irrigation. As on 30 September, it had constructed over 7,551 lane km of roads. In Q4 2018, road projects accounted for 81% of its order book, up from 65% in the corresponding period a year ago. Sadbhav Engineering is now looking to raise Rs 1,500 crore through a QIP in the current quarter.
The company has also received letter of acceptance (LOA) from the Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation for road project worth Rs 1,620 crore. The order is for construction of access controlled Nagpur-Mumbai Super Communication Expressway (Maharastra Samruddhi Mahamarg) in Maharashtra in district Washim.
It has also been declared the successful bidder (Ll) for other road and irrigation projects worth Rs 1,299.98 crore. Besides this, it has bagged a mining project worth Rs 317 crore in Chhattisgarh.
