The Executive Committee of Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM) has elected Vinod Aggarwal, MD & CEO, VE Commercial Vehicles (VECV) as its new VP for 2021-22. VE Commercial Vehicles (VECV) is a joint venture between the Volvo Group and Eicher Motors.
Vipin Sondhi, MD & CEO, Ashok Leyland served as VP of SIAM from September 2020 till date. Change in Vice Presidentship has been done due to the resignation of Vipin Sondhi from his position at Ashok Leyland.
Kenichi Ayukawa, president, SIAM, said, “We thank Vipin Sondhi for his valuable contribution. We welcome Vinod Aggarwal who is an old hand at SIAM and has led as the treasurer.”
