During the inspection, check if all the sockets have proper earthing. Check for leakage current and verify if the output voltage is between 220 – 240V.

How is the wall finish?: The condition of walls is essential as it is the basic unit of the house. If there are cracks, gaps, or alignment issues, they are bound to deteriorate and cause further damage. Besides, from a cosmetic point of view also, it becomes imperative that the walls are properly finished.

What is the water pressure?: The ideal water pressure in Indian households should be between 40 – 70 psi. Anything below the range will make the water outlets inconvenient to use. Anything above 70 psi may cause the pipes to burst.

What kind of mesh and glass has been used in windows/doors?: Safety is a prime concern, and therefore you should prioritize checking the windows and doors as they are the first layer of protection for you and your loved ones at home. The strength and quality of the wood, hinges, screws, glass, track and lock system determines the longevity of doors and windows and the house’s safety from unwanted strangers.

What is the carpet area of the property?: Property is generally sold on a per square feet basis.
