The sudden and untimely demise of Rupen Patel, promoter, CMD of Patel Engineering, on the late hours of Friday, July 5, 2024, has left many grieving.
In response to this tragic loss, Janky Patel, his bereaved wife, has been appointed as chairperson of the company. A graduate of Mumbai University, she will hold the position of non-executive chairperson and will lead the company with the same dedication and integrity as her husband to ensure the seamless functioning of the company during this difficult period.
Kavita Shirvaikar has been appointed as acting MD of the company, stepping down from her previous role as chief financial officer of the company. A qualified Chartered Accountant and a graduate of the Institute of Cost & Works Accountants of India, she brings over 20 years of extensive experience in accountancy, tax, audit, banking, finance, and fund management and holds the trust of the Board.
