Omaxe bags contract from AFNHB
Omaxe Infrastructure & Construction Ltd (OICL), a wholly owned subsidiary of Omaxe Ltd, has bagged a contract from Air Force Naval Housing Board (AFNHB) to construct a Housing colony at Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. The contract, which involves development and construction of the residential colony, is pegged at Rs 572 million.
The new residential colony will be spread over an area of 10 acres and will be located near Shatabadi Nagar, Meerut. The colony will comprise of 365 dwelling units in grandiose eight towers with each having G+10 floors. This housing project will have two residential options – 2 BHK and 3 BHK which will come fitted with basic sanitary and electrical fittings. With the total construction area of 5 lac sq ft, the project is slotted to be complete within 24 months of commencement of construction.
Commenting on the development, Rohtas Goel, Chairman and Managing Director of Omaxe Group said “We are proud to be associated with this prestigious project which is being built for the Air Force Naval Housing Board. Recently, Omaxe bagged contract to construct the complex of prestigious AIIMS at Rishikesh, Uttarakhand. Apart from this other construction projects by Omaxe group include Manyavar Kanshiram Allopathic Medical College and its Associated Hospital at Saharanpur, U.P, Modern Jail at Faridkot and Kapurthala. Omaxe group is also engaged in modernization of ESI Hospitals at Cuttak and Bhubneswar, construction of Convention Centre, Library & Computer Centre at Deenbandhu Chhottu Ram University at Murthal in Sonepat, Haryana and construction of a township at Dariba in Rajasthan. The total value of these projects is pegged at approximately Rs 822.52 crore.
