Netz Capital plans Innovation Townships in India

Netz Capital Advisors, a PE and VC advisory firm said it will launch the concept of Innovation Townships near Mumbai, Bangalore and other cities in India to promote open culture for employment growth and job creation like Silicon Valley. "We are working on JV deals near Bangalore and Mumbai to launch the concept of Innovation Townships. Lot of areas such as Green Energy, social infra, agriculture, basic infrastructure needs grass root innovators for India to really grow. Through Innovation Townships, we are creating an infrastructure platform for people with high energy levels from industry, academia and investment to gather and find definitive solutions for problems in India’s growth story," said Atul Khekade, Chief Conceptualizer of Innovation Township and Founding Partner of Netz Capital Advisors.
Innovation Township will be executed on a minimum area of 100 acres and will have an integrated infrastructure such as housing, offices, academic infra and open incubation areas for high energy level people from industries and academia.
Work for first Innovation Township will be off the ground in 2011 and 4 other such townships will be launched by 2013.
