MCHI-CREDAI collaborates with Rustomjee academy
Maharashtra Chamber of Housing Industry (MCHI- CREDAI) and Rustomjee Academy of Global Careers have joined hands to provide certified courses to youth aspiring to make a career in real estate industry. The first batch of students was presented with certificates on completion of the course.
The sole aim of this initiative is to train and give a career opportunity to the underprivileged youth, improve and enhance existing skill sets of the workers which will further help them to increase their income levels.
Paras Gundecha, President, MCHI-CREDAI said, “We are delighted to be associated with Rustomjee Academy of Global Careers as this will help the industry to benefit from better skilled workmen. With the real estate industry growing at a rapid pace there is a dire need for upgrading the competence levels of workers, which will have a direct impact on the productivity in the industry”.
Boman Irani, secretary of MCHI-CREDAI and CMD of Rustomjee Group said, “This tie-up with MCHI-CREDAI gives us a larger platform in making this venture more successful and reaching a larger audience. Through this initiative we are providing a range of options and will be able to recruit the best talent.”
Rustomjee Academy of Global Career focuses on providing practical training to the youth thereby improving the productivity. Students are getting an opportunity to be trained under the best practitioners of the industry.
The Construction Supervisor programme for freshers is divided into five months of classroom followed by seven months internship with reputed companies. Post the course completion the students are guaranteed a job placement. The Construction Practice programme for existing supervisor programme is a 15 day programme sponsored by the companies for improving the technical and soft skill abilities of an individual. Companies like Kalpataru, Ajmera, Wadhwa, Rustomjee, Hiranandani group etc send their supervisors for training.
This first time collaboration between an industry body and an institute is expected to provide a pool of talented professional and thereby change the dynamics of the industry.
