L&T Construction recognised as ‘Best Performing Power T&D Organisation
The Power Transmission & Distribution (PT&D) business vertical of L&T Construction – the construction arm of Larsen & Toubro – was recognized as the ‘Best Performing Power Transmission & Distribution Organization’ by the Central Board of Irrigation and Power (CBIP), a premier institution of the Government of India.
The award is in recognition for the outstanding contribution of the organization towards nation building and for the introduction of frontier and innovation technologies in PT&D to meet future demands. It was conferred in the august presence of the Minister of State (IC) Power and New and Renewable Energy Shree Raj Kumar Singh and other senior officials from Ministry of Power, Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, Central Electricity Authority, Ministry of Water Resources, River Development & Ganga Rejuvenation and CBIP.

CBIP, set up in 1927, has been rendering dedicated services to professional organizations, engineers and individuals in the country related to Power, Water Resources and Renewable Energy Sectors for over 90 years.
