Legrand launches energy saving solutions

Legrand India, a leading provider of end-to-end solutions in systems for electrical installations and information networks the world over, has introduced its advanced and comprehensive range of energy-saving solutions – namely, infrared switches, clockcon switches.
This move is in line with Legrand’s expansion plans in India which include broadening its product portfolio to address the needs in emerging markets such as Mumbai. “The Indian electrical and electronics market is fragmented with unbranded and cheap imports that aren’t energy-efficient or adhere to safety norms,” said Palash Nandy, deputy general manager, Legrand (India). “Being a market leader, Legrand has always been innovative with its offerings and our latest energy-saving offerings meet the highest quality and safety standards.”
With three modern manufacturing facilities in Maharashtra, the company is a dominant player in the domestic market for MCBs, RCDs and distribution boards with a major presence in wiring accessories and MCCBs. On the distribution front, Legrand (India) has a large network of over 550 stockists and 2500 retail outlets.
