InterMachinery India 2010 inaugurated
The twin shows of InterMachinery India 2010 & the International Retail Products Show (comprising of Consumer Electronics, Household Products and Home Appliances) were inaugurated at Mumbai today.
The shows will run from 13th to 15th May 2010 at the Bombay Exhibition Centre, Goregaon, Mumbai. Jointly, the expo will be showcasing more than 125 exhibitors from China while over 8000 visitors are expected from India and South Asia.
Speaking at the inauguration of one of the biggest International B2B exhibition in India on Machinery and Retail Products, namely the InterMachinery India
2010 & the International Retail Products Show (comprising of Consumer Electronics, Household Products and Home Appliances), Mr. Zhu Zhiping, Asst.
Director, Trade Development Board, China said, "India is developing at a tremendous pace. To keep up with this growth, the latest technology, machinery and equipment are a necessity. China fulfils this requirement perfectly through the production and supply of internationally recognised equipment at competitive costs. This synergy between the two countries will go a long way in providing a fresh impetus to India’s industrial and manufacturing sector with the collaboration and assistance from the Chinese industry."
India’s coming success story will be written by the growth in communication, infrastructure, logistics, real estate and power sectors, he added. On display at IMI are machinery products from all verticals like construction, machine tools and related products, agriculture and food processing, packaging, sheet metal fabrication, materials & accessories, heavy engineering etc.
The exhibitions are organised jointly with the Trade Development Bureau (TDB), Ministry of Commerce, the People’s Republic of China and the China National
Machinery & Equipment Import & Export Corporation (CMEC).
InterMachinery India 2010 is also being held in association with the Process Plant and Machinery Association of India (PPMAI) and is supported by the SME
Chamber of India, the Tarapur Industrial Manufacturers’ Association (TIMA) and the Additional Ambarnath Manufacturer’s Association (AAMA).
