IEEMA appoints Murali Venkatraman as President

The Indian Electrical and Electronics Manufacturers’ Association (IEEMA), the apex body for the power transmission and distribution industry has announced the appointment of Murali Venkatraman as its new president.
Venkatraman will be responsible for bringing together the key power sector companies both from the Indian public and private sector realm. His immediate concern areas remain voicing concerns of the power industry to meet the national objective of Power for All and sustainable energy for the growth of the Indian infrastructure at large. He will also work towards smoothening the connectivity between suppliers and EPC contractors with the Ministry of Power, power planning agencies and the utilities.
He holds a Masters degree in Engineering Management and has over 24 years of domain expertise in various functional areas ranging from Product Management to Multiple Profit Center Responsibility. He is an active Board member of companies within the auto ancillary and plantation sectors.
