HSIL wins the Golden Peacock Innovation Award 2011

HSIL Limited has been honoured with the prestigious ‘Golden Peacock Innovation Award 2011′. The prestigious award was presented by Ajit Pawar, Deputy Chief Minister of the Maharashtra Government, during the 21st World Congress on Leading 360 degrees Transformation on 30 January 2011. It was received by RK Somany, Chairman & Managing Director, HSIL Ltd. The award ceremony was held at Hotel Leela Kempinski in Mumbai and witnessed a gathering of distinguished business leaders, quality connoisseurs’, jurists, academics, environmentalists, economists, legislators and policy makers.
The highly respected Golden Peacock Awards are organised every year in India by ‘Institute of Directors’, which accepts applications from esteemed companies, individuals and organisations. Through transparent selection criteria, the awards scheme determines the winner after a highly elaborate and independent assessment process. HSIL Ltd was chosen as the winner by a highly respectable experienced jury, under the Chairmanship of Justice P. N. Bhagwati, former Chief Justice of India and Member of UN Human Rights Commission.
