Everest Industries bags ICWAI Award


Everest Industries Limited has received National Award for Excellence in Cost Management from Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India (ICWAI) for their Lakhmapur Works, Nasik, Maharashtra. Everest received this award under ‘Private Sector- Manufacturing (Medium) category. The particular category was applicable only to those manufacturing units in private sector whose turnover was less then Rs1000 crore per annum.

The award was presented to ML Gupta, Managing Director, Everest Industries Limited by Salman Khurshid, Ministry of Corporate Affairs.
ML Gupta said: “It’s an honour to be a part of this ceremony and with every passing year we are witnessing more and more cost effectiveness being embedded in our work system, we hope to achieve this effectiveness in every production facility of ours in India.”
A high profile Jury members led by the former chief Justice of Supreme Court of India, Justice J S Verma, chose the winners after the comprehensive selection process.
Established in the year 1994-95, Lakhmapur Works (LW) has advanced manufacturing facility for manufacturing AC Corrugated roofing sheets, Flat Boards, Compressed Boards, and Solid Wall Panels.
The company has manufacturing facilities in Kymore (Madhya Pradesh), Kolkata (West Bengal), Coimbatore (Tamil Nadu), Nashik (Maharashtra) and Roorkee (Uttrakhand ). Its product portfolio comprises of Everest Ceiling Solutions, Everest Wall Solutions, Everest Floor Solutions, Everest Cladding Solutions, Everest Doors, Everest Roofing Solutions and Everest Steel Building Solutions.
