Disha Direct forays into hospitality

Business

Second homes major Disha Direct Marketing Services Pvt Ltd recently announced its foray into the hospitality and leisure industry. The Company plans to invest Rs300 crore in this Hospitality Division, christened Greenarth Leisure Pvt Ltd. The Company will begin operations with Maharashtra & Goa followed by other locations shortly.
Greenarth will be a chain of leisure resorts set up in naturally beautiful locales combining the fine experience of a club, recreation & holiday with activities revolving close to nature. These emerging chains of theme resorts are located in picturesque unexplored locations with a view to redefine the leisure industry in a refreshingly innovative way. Be it river’s edge, pristine beaches, soothing riversides, valleys, hill tops or dense forest, every Greenarth resort is being crafted with an architectural theme – earth, aqua, green, and life; each theme to give their members a great ambience. With its chain of resorts along Mumbai-Pune, Mumbai-Ahmedabad, Mumbai-Nashik, Mumbai-Nagar highways, Greenarth allows members a quick break at anytime convenient to the family.
Commenting on the occasion, Santosh Naik, MD, Disha Direct said, “In today’s urban lifestyle, people are constantly on the go & have very little time in hand to spend with their family & friends. Weekends are usually spent either relaxing at home or visiting malls & multiplexes. We thus realized that there is a gap in the leisure segment & given a chance, families would love to take off to close by weekend destinations as frequently as possible. A welcome break close to nature and away from the chaotic city is something, which every urban individual yearns for! Thus was born the idea of Greenarth Leisure. Greenarth Leisure offers getaways as short as one to two days that can be spontaneously decided by the family. Longer vacations involve a lot of time, money, efforts & logistics and hence these shorts breaks are sure to be welcomed by families. Greenarth Leisure will be most suited for quick plans such as picnics, holidays, celebrations & general get-to-gathers. All Greenarth Resorts are within 2 to 3 hours drive from Mumbai City offering an option to take a break whenever the need is felt.”
Greenarth has launched its exemplar resort ‘Greenarth Lakeview’ at Vikramgad, Manor, off Mumbai Ahmedabad Highway. Spread over 7 acres besides a private lake, Greenarth Lakeview is just 2 hours drive from Mumbai. This mansion like contemporary and classic resort has all the modern amenities and a perfect venue for all Leisure moments. Greenarth riverside at Wada, Greenarth Orchid at Alibaug, Greenarth Bollywood Blues at Karjat, Greenarth Tierra at Roha and Greenarth Life at Kasara will soon open and establish Greenarth leisure as one of the fastest growing resort chain in Maharashtra.Subodh Gupte, vice-president Operations, Greenarth Leisure, added, “The ambience at each Greenarth resort has been planned to be pleasing and comforting. Members are sure to find manicured lawns, landscapes, waterscapes, beautiful gardens and river decks across all our resorts.
