Danfoss inks MoU with ITI, Guindy


Continuing its effort towards skilling India, Danfoss Industries entered into an agreement with Government Industrial Training Institute (ITI), Guindy, to set up a refrigeration and cooling (RAC) lab at the institute premises for 130 students pursuing RAC course. The initiative will enhance the learning atmosphere and knowledge levels of the RAC students and trainers in government ITIs and rural community colleges in India.
ITI Guindy happens to be the only government ITI in Chennai and Kanchipuram which has a sought-after RAC course, where over 45 students enrol every year.
“There is a demand for HVAC solutions. While this is being addressed, it is imperative that India’s infrastructure story is sustainable. Energy efficient HVAC solutions are the need of the hour and for this, skilled labour trained in energy efficiency is required,” said Ravichandran Purushothaman, president, Danfoss India.
