Credai (Guj) delegation to visit Japan, Korea
A delegation of Credai (Gujarat chapter) members comprising of 95 real estate developers from the state will be visiting Japan and Korea to study technological aspects of their infrastructure. The delegation scheduled to travel on Sept 29, will also be accompanied by members of the Japan External Trade Organisation (Jetro) and Korean Chamber of Commerce and Industries.
The state has witnessed a strong Japanese connection of late with the country being an active during the recent Vibrant Gujarat Global Investors’ Summit (VGGIS) 2009. Jetro is also in talks with the state government for investment in the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor, a joint initiative by India and Japan. The Dmic will travel about 38% of its 1,483 route through the state from Palanpur in Banaskantha to Valsad down South.
Further the upcoming Dholera special investment region (Sir) will also witness a mini-Japan with several projects from the country. Apart from Dholera Sir and Dahej Pcpir, the Japanese have shown interest in developing Aliabet, a wasteland in the Gulf of Khambhat.
