Trade body for construction chemicals mftrs

Leading manufacturers of construction chemicals in India have announced the formation of their representative body, Construction Chemicals Manufacturers Association (CCMA). In the first Annual General Meeting, the trade body elected Mr Himanshu Kapadia as the President. Mr Kapadia is the chief executive – construction chemicals with BASF in India.
Mr Subu Venkataraman, MD, Sika India was elected as the VP and Mr BL Maheshwari, MD & CEO, AquaProof was elected as the General Secretary. The Key objectives of the association will be to promote the growth of the industry by raising awareness and quality standards. Mr Kapadia said that the construction chemical industry, which today stands at Rs1700 crore has the potential to reach Rs5000 crore in the next five years.
