Somany Ceramics Ltd has announced its annual audited financial results for the fiscal 2010-11. The Profit After Tax (PAT) for the year has increased by 14.52% to Rs2343 lakh from Rs2046 lakh in the financial year 2009-10. The Profit Before Tax (PBT) also recorded an increase of 10.31% rising to Rs3371 lakh from Rs3056 lakh in the same period last year. The company reported Net Sales of Rs71058 lakh over that of Rs53694 lakh in last year, achieving an increase of 32.34%.
Commenting on the Company’s annual financial performance, Abhishek Somany, Joint Managing Director, Somany Ceramics Ltd. said, “Our current financial results indicate a strong performance on account of sales which has grown by 32.34 %. We have initiated various cost control measures to keep check on the increasing input costs. This will help us in improving our profitability for next fiscal year”
He further added, “We aim to grow more than 30% in the FY 2011-12 and will invest accordingly for expanding our business operations and upgrading our manufacturing facilities.”
