Kaushalya Logistics (KLL) has announced two major expansions in its operations. It has launched its new cement depot in Ahmednagar, Maharashtra. This development enhances KLL’s logistics services for Adani Cement, including rake point operations, depot management, and secondary transportation. The new depot is designed to handle approximately 120,000 metric tons of cement annually, supporting ACC and Ambuja Cement brands.
The Ahmednagar depot will oversee the complete logistics chain, from rail movement to depot operations and transportation to secondary distribution points.
In tandem with the cement logistics expansion, KLL has introduced its new vertical in freight forwarding under full truck load (FTL) services. The company has commenced operations with two key clients: VMS Equipment, a group company of ACE – a material handling and construction equipment manufacturer, and Epicu Beverages, a bottler for Parle Agro.
Uddhav Poddar, MD, Kaushalya Logistics, said, “We are thrilled to start this new association with Adani group with a new depot in Ahmednagar. Our collaboration with Adani Cement showcases our cement logistics capabilities, and our entry into the freight forwarding market marks a pivotal step in our growth strategy.”
