Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre was inaugurated on Friday in Mumbai. Nita Ambani performed traditional puja on Ramnavmi to seek the Almighty’s blessings on the eve of the launch of Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC). Several Bollywood and Hollywood celebrities marked the 2-day long event.

“The NMACC is envisioned as a platform to spotlight Indian arts and culture at its best, both for the audience and the artists. A truly inclusive centre for performers and visitors, for dreamers and creators, for one and all. With world-class infrastructure and robust programming, our aim is to make the arts accessible to everyone. An ode to our nation, the Cultural Centre aims to preserve and promote Indian arts. I hope our spaces nurture and inspire talent, bringing together communities from across India and the globe,” said founder & chairperson, Nita M Ambani.

Art house

The Art House is a four-storey, 16,000 sq. ft. dedicated visual arts space that will display the works of visionary Indian and international artists. Designed to converge the outside with the indoors through a glass facade overlooking the Fountain of Joy, it provides nooks for creative thinking and immersive experiences.

Dhirubhai Ambani Square

Centred around the city’s prized Fountain of Joy, the square is a vibrant public space that is inspired by the spirit of Mumbai. The Fountain features a mesmerising combination of water, fire, light and music that creates an unforgettable symphony.

The Grand Theatre

A performing arts marvel, each element of this transformative space creates immersive experiences. A spectacular 2,500-seat venue that hosts the highest-calibre productions including shows, musicals, and plays, The Grand Theatre is where the best of India and the world come together.

The Studio Theatre

The Studio Theatre is an intimate space designed for cutting-edge experiences and performances. With a seating capacity of up to 250 guests, its intense and diverse programming schedule lets you catch the best of musical presentations, dance performances, literary events and plays.

The Cube

The Cube is an intimate space that accommodates up to 125 guests. An incubator of new talent and ideas, it is a flexible platform that hosts engaging performances that are conversational and dialogue-oriented, like workshops, screenings, spoken word and book readings. The performances staged here are so immersive, one feels connected with the performer.

About the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre

The Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre is a first-of-its-kind, multi-disciplinary space in the sphere of arts, within the Jio World Centre, located in the heart of Mumbai’s Bandra Kurla Complex.

The Cultural Centre is home to three performing arts spaces: the majestic 2,500-seat Grand Theatre, the technologically advanced 250-seat Studio Theatre, and the dynamic 125-seat Cube. It also features the Art House, a four-storey dedicated visual arts space built as per global museum standards with the aim of housing a shifting array of exhibits and installations from the finest artistic talent across India and the world.
