Bidding process opens for creek bridge construction in Palghar

The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) has issued a call for bids for the design and construction of a 1.189 km-long creek bridge. The planned bridge will connect Murbe and Palghar in the Palghar district of Maharashtra.

The project encompasses the design, procurement, construction, testing, and commissioning of a fully operational bridge as part of a performance-based, lump-sum turnkey design and build contract. Additionally, the contractor will be responsible for constructing access and approach roads to and within the project site.

The construction work is to be completed within 48 months, which includes obtaining all necessary environmental and other clearances.

The deadline for bid submissions is September 13, 2024.
