Armstrong opens a new office in Bengaluru

Located in Benson Town, the new office will help the company further its India business expansion plans

A global leader in the design, engineering, and manufacturing of intelligent fluid flow equipment, control solutions, and optimization technologies, Armstrong Fluid Technology, has opened its new office in Bengaluru. This was announced by the global commercial director, Mike Fischer and the commercial director & country leader for India & South Asia, Jiji Joseph.

The new Armstrong office occupies two floors of a multi-storied commercial building situated in the metropolitan’s prime area of Jayamahal CBD, Benson town. One floor of the new office is dedicated to Armstrong’s Research and Development, Design Innovation, and Controls Lab. The other floor houses the sales, administration, and other business functions.

Jiji Joseph lit the auspicious lamp.

Charles Armstrong said on video message, “Nearly 18 years ago we started on this journey with a small foundry, and a few engineers with knowledge of computational fluid dynamics and 3D modelling. Today our India operations have grown and have created a proven track record in manufacturing, design, engineering services, and project management capabilities,” he said.

Today there are two manufacturing facilities in Bangalore and employs around 300 employees. Armstrong Fluid Technology has a strong business footprint across sectors such as commercial buildings, data center, education, healthcare, energy, hospitality, retail, transportation, and more.

Jiji Joseph said, “As Charles rightly observed, starting with the sourcing of mechanical components and back-office support, our India business has moved up the value chain expanding the specialized engineering support and allied activities.”

Going forward, the company expects the new office premises to spearhead further and faster expansion in the India & South Asia markets. Joseph noted that Armstrong India is planning to double its business in the next 3 to 4 years. Some of the solutions that the company specializes in are Design Envelope technology, heating, and cooling solutions, fluid-flow and HVAC systems, water management systems, fire safety systems, and service and support.
