JCB further consolidates its position in Kerala with a new state-of-the-art dealership premises at Kochi

JCB India inaugurated the new headquarters of its dealership, Popular JCB at Kochi. Spread over 40,000 sq-ft, with built-up area of 24,000 sq-ft the dealership employs over 200 trained personnel.

Popular JCB has been a dealer for JCB in Kerala since 2014. This new state-of-the-art facility will provide a world-class experience to customers for all their equipment related requirements, which include sales, service and genuine parts. It will cover over 2,000 machines in its territory through this premise. 

Headquartered at Kochi, it will have 13 outlets in Kerala, at Pattamabi, Muvattupuzha, Kottayam, Thrissur, Perumbavoor, Kattapana, Kattayam, Thriuvalla, Kottarakkara, Oachira, Thrivanthapuram, Nemon and at Chittur. It will also have four bay work shop for product support, along with a specialised Engine Room, a Welding Bay, and close to 100 trained service engineers with mobile service vans.

At the inauguration, Vipin Sondhi, MD & CEO, JCB India, said, “It will offer the complete range of JCB products in the territory through 13 outlets in the different districts of Kerala. As we continue to integrate digital technology in our products, Popular JCB will also have a Command Centre for JCB Livelink, our Advanced Telematics Technology. With the focus on building infrastructure in the state, Highways and Waterway projects are important growth enablers for our industry; and we remain committed to offering world-class products and services for our customers in Kerala to leverage these opportunities.”

Popular JCB has a state-of-the-art fully operational command centre for “Livelink”, JCB’s advanced telematics technology which enables customers in efficient fleet management.  Customers with Livelink enabled machines get SMS alerts on their mobile phones or smart devices regarding service, fuel alerts, operations and security of their machines by using the Geo Fencing and Time fencing features. All this information is available to the customer in real time.
