RMD Kwikform has added products to its ground shoring fleet in order to better service its customers; the fleet now boasts a range of trench boxes, manhole boxes and Tubeshor props.

David White, ground shoring GM for RMD Kwikform in MENA and India, comments, “With our network of branches and teams across the Middle East and India, all regions that have seen growth in the groundworks sector. We are able to supply our products to all regions and deliver that ‘local service’ we’re recognised for. Although each of our MENA and Indian markets differ slightly, in light of the various projects, applications and legislations, we’ve developed our ground shoring products to accommodate for consistent requirements. These requirements include a demand for safer solutions; a solution that is simple and easy to erect, which reduces costs and increases productivity."

The Tubeshor prop for example, which is a tubular shoring solution is suitable for deep excavations, basement propping and cofferdams, embodies all of the consultant and contractors’ requirements.

RMD Kwikform’s Tubeshor prop range is available in three diameters and various lengths. After recognising the contractor’s and site team’s consistent challenges when it came to using equipment, RMD Kwikform ensured that the Tubeshor had fewer components, more handling points and was primarily designed with the ‘user’ in mind. With in-built safety features and the use of hydraulics for preloading, the Tubeshor can be installed, moved and dismantled safely, efficiently and in less-time than comparable systems.
