KPI Global Infrastructure adds new capacity of 2.2 MW at solar power plant at Bharuch

KPI Global Infrastructure has added new capacity of 2.2 MW at its existing solar power plant at Sudi and Tancha village, Ta-Amod, in Bharuch district, Gujarat.

The additional capacity was commissioned on 31 March 2020 under the Independent Power Producer (IPP) category. The capacity was commissioned for industrial customers B N Papers, Vapi and Cheminova India, Mumbai, against their Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) capacity of 1.12 MW and one MW for which the company has also received Commissioning Certificate from the Gujarat Energy Development Agency (GEDA).

Apart from this, KPI Global Infrastructure has also signed power purchase agreement (PPA) with Arti Silk Mills, Surat, Gujarat, for sale of 1.10 MW solar power for a period of 20 years under the category of Independent Power Producer (IPP).

With this, the total cumulative capacity under IPP Category of the company’s solar power plant as on date has gone up to 42.87 MW.
